Keyword finding tools

① Keyword Planner tool

If you have a Gmail account, you can use the Keyword Planner tool for free via Create an ad account Then go to the following link Google Keyword Planner.

1- You will go to Tools And Settings and then choose the word Keyword Planner as in the picture.

screenshot-2022-03-23-131802-2

2- This window will appear, click on Discover new keywords.

screenshot-2022-03-23-132744

3- A new window will appear for you. You will type a general keyword such as “e-marketing” in box No. 1 and specify the language and country you are targeting, then you will click on the word “GET RESULTS” to get results.

%d8%b4%d9%8a%d8%b4%d8%b3%d9%8a

4- After that, the Keyword Planner tool will suggest to you a large number of keywords related to the keyword that you wrote in the previous step. Below is a detailed explanation of the data that the tool shows you and how you can benefit from it in the keyword plan for your site.

%d9%8a%d8%a8%d9%8a%d8%b3%d8%b4%d8%a8

1- This is the search period. Do you want to know the search rate for keywords in the last week, the last 14 days, or the last month? All of this relates to you, but the best thing is to know the latest number of searches during the last month, so that you can build a keyword plan based on the latest update.

2- Through “FILTER” or filtering, you will remove words related to adults or adults.

3- In the first box, you will find the keyword, and below it is the word Keyword ideas, which are the words related to your main keyword, and in our example this is “electronic marketing.”

4- The average number of searches on keywords per month. Google Keyword Planner is considered the most accurate tool in knowing the average number of monthly searches on any keyword because it is affiliated with Google itself.

5- It is the rate of change in the last 3 months for the word, and the numbers show that the search rate decreased in the last 3 months compared to the previous three months.

6- YoY change, which compares the monthly search volume for the last month with the same month of the previous year.

7- The competition rate or “Competition” determines the rate of advertising competition for these words. If it is “low” then it is weak, if it is “Medium” then it is moderate, and if it is “High” then it is high competition.

8- Top of page bid (low range) means the minimum price per click to reach the first page, and Google determines it based on your location, competitors, and the quality of your ad.

9- Top of page bid (high range) means the highest or maximum price per click to reach the first results, also according to your site, competitors, and the quality of your ad.

10- You can add the keywords you want in this box, where you can add 10 keywords, like the image below, and Google will suggest a large number of keywords related to these words.

② Keyword Magic Tool

considered a tool Keyword Magic Tool SEMrush is one of the most popular tools among website owners and those working in the field of e-marketing, due to its ease of use and multiple advantages.

image-6450863

Write the content idea and the target country
This is the general idea that you want to find keywords related to.

image-8939905

Take an overview of the suggested words
It is important at the beginning to take an overview of the results suggested by the tool and analyze them well.

image-3557907

There are several important terms that must be understood in this picture...

Number of searches for each word or Volume : This is the number of times users search for this word per month within the country that you previously specified.

Difficulty appearing in the keyword or KD% This is the difficulty rate for which the first results for this keyword come out on a scale of 1 to 100. The lower the number, the easier the competition.

The number of results competing for this word or Results: This is the number of pages that appear in Google results when you search for this word, and the smaller this number is, the more chance your new site will have of quickly appearing in advanced results within search engines.

The researcher's intent The Keyword Magic Tool analyzes and predicts the searcher’s intent for each word, whether it is Informational, Transactional, Commercial, or Navigational, as we explained before in the Keyword Patterns section.

Popularity of the word or trend This indicator helps you know the popularity of this keyword over the course of 12 months, so that you can choose the optimal time to target it on your site, as sometimes there are seasonal words that have a high search rate, but it is not continuous, such as the word “Ramadan series,” which is searched for more frequently. It increases significantly during the month of Ramadan, but decreases to nearly zero after the end of the month.

✅ How do you find keywords that are easy to compete with?

The first step: using the KD% indicator or Keyword Difficulty

easy-7983156

Click on the KD% button at the top left of the screen and the tool will show keyword difficulty indicators, which start from 0%, the easiest of all, and reach 100%, the most difficult of all.

From 0% to 14% Easiest of all: You can compete for these words and appear in the first results on any new site within a period ranging from 7 to 14 days.

From 15% to 29% Easy words too. You can compete for these words and appear in the first results on any medium strength site within a period ranging from 30 to 45 days.

From 30% to 49% : Words of medium difficulty. You can compete for these words and appear in the first results on any medium or strong site within a period ranging from 30 to 60 days.

From 50% to 69% Difficult words to compete with: You can compete for these words if your site is really strong and a period of no less than 6 to 9 months has passed since its creation.

As for the rest of the options, they are for major sites that have been established for more than a year, have a very large number of backlinks, and are already at the top of the first results for most of the important keywords in their field.

This is why it is not recommended to target words that fall between 70% and 100% indicators if your site is new or of average strength because it will be difficult for you to achieve any significant results.

The second step: using the number of pages or results indicator

image-8012081

⦿ Click on the Advanced Filters button
⦿ After that, write the number 1 in the first box and the number 10,000 in the second box.
⦿ Click Apply to get the results

After that, the tool will suggest to you all the keywords for which there are fewer than 10 pages competing, as any word with fewer than 10 pages of competitors is considered easy to compete with, and you can appear in its first results within a very short period.

image-1776182

As you can see in the previous image, the tool suggested two words, the number of pages competing for them does not exceed 14 pages, and these words, even if the number of searches for them is low, you can target them on your new site and appear in the first results within a period not exceeding XNUMX days, as we explained above.

The third step: Using the number of words of the keyword sentence or Word Count

image-6461782

This option allows you to specify the number of words in the keyword phrase that you want to target. Of course, the larger the number of words, the easier this keyword phrase becomes in terms of competition.

This is why we always recommend that you try searching for “keyword phrases” consisting of 4 words or more, as shown in the previous image.

If there are results consisting of 4 or more words, you will be able to compete for them easily, given that they are Very Long Tail Keywords and are considered relatively easier than Short Tail Keywords.

image-4376431

As you can see in the previous image, we obtained 419 keyword phrases consisting of 4 or more words. We can filter them further and determine the number of competing pages and the percentage of word difficulty to get words with almost no competition, but they are very targeted and may help you get visitors and customers to your site.

Practical example

When searching for the word (study), we find the following:-

image-6919722

☑ 133,884 keywords
☑ 748,390 average number of searches
☑ 19% average keyword difficulty

But after applying the options explained above, we find the following:

image-2025158

✅405 keywords
✅102,760 average number of searches
✅ 18% average keyword difficulty

It is best that the number of pages competing for all of these words does not exceed 10 pages, and their difficulty does not exceed 29%, so the chances of you coming in first in these words are very strong.

③ Keyword Gap tool

This unique tool SEMrush It allows comparing more than one site with each other, finding common keywords between them, and then targeting them within the pages of your site.

image-7769655

Some may wonder what is special about this method?

The truth is that this method is very useful for new and medium-sized sites, as it helps you know the most important words in the field in which your site is active without wasting a long time searching.

If 5 sites in your field share specific keywords, this means that these words are the most important in your field to the point that there are 5 different sites they are actually targeting!

image-6593443

As you can see in the previous image, there are 2,9 million keywords shared by the five previously mentioned sites. Of course, you will not find this large number in your site’s domain because these sites are among the largest sites in the world.

But the purpose of this image is to understand the idea.

You can also add your site to the list of sites in the comparison so that you can discover the words that your site does not target but that all your competitors target.

image-6451347

As shown in the previous image, there are 668 thousand words that are not targeted by Pinterest, but are targeted by all of its competitors. Therefore, if you put yourself in Pinterest’s place, this is 668 thousand new opportunities!

But do you know what's better than this?

You can filter these results in the same way that we explained in the Keyword Magic Tool to get words with easy competition so you can start getting targeted visits quickly!

image-7742578

When we apply the qualifications for the difficulty of the keyword and the number of results competing for it in search engines, we find that we have about 128 thousand words that can be targeted very easily!

Is there anything more wonderful than this!

④ Kwfinder tool

considered a tool KWfinder One of the favorite tools among those working in the field of SEO due to its ease of use and the availability of some features and advantages that help website owners obtain keywords relatively easily. Also, subscribing to the KWfinder tool comes within a package of different tools that help website owners.

image-5940118

All you have to do after entering the tool is to write a main keyword and specify the target country, or choose Anywhere if you want to target the whole world, then choose the language for your site.

image-8176442

The tool provides you with data similar to the Keyword Magic Tool, but in a different way, as it shows you the difficulty of the keyword and its trend indicator throughout the year.

It also shows you the ten sites that rank in the first results for each keyword, indicating the number of backlinks for each site and their Domain Authority and Page Authority.

And when you click on the word Analyze SERP

You are being turned into a tool SERPchecker Their affiliates examine the first ten results more accurately and in detail in terms of the number of external links and the strength of the link profile of each site, as shown in the following image:

image-9666878

This tool offers an important feature called LPS, or Link Profile Score, which is an evaluation of the site’s strength in terms of the number and strength of the backlinks it has obtained. This indicator will help you know the strength of your competitors, and the closer the number is to zero, the easier it is to outperform this competitor.

When you click on the Snapshot button, you will get a direct picture of the search engine results for the word you are targeting so that you can know if this word has paid ads or Featured Snippets in its results, which would negatively affect the click-through rates (CTR).

image-7878213

⑤ Soovle tool

Section Five

Keyword secrets

In this section, I will share with you some of our secrets in SEO

How do we double visits to our clients’ websites by targeting specific keywords?

Read this section carefully and apply what is explained so that you can achieve the same results.

Keyword secrets

The first secret: The best source for keywords is your website

image-3952335

The best source for finding keywords of interest to your audience is your site data, specifically Google Search Console data.

After you write some articles or add some products, Google will start showing the keywords with which your site appears in search engine results.

By knowing these words that your target audience has recently searched for, you will be able to better meet their needs within your old site pages by refining and adding to the content.

The second secret: Keywords are not only for content!

image-9396172

As you can see in the previous image, this site belongs to one of Sahah’s SEO clients, and this site was able to achieve 333 visits in the last 12 months through the image search engine Google Images.

Some sites wish to achieve only half of this number of visits through content, but they cannot. Improving your site’s images and adding the keywords you target in the content, such as Alt Text, can push your site to appear in advanced results and obtain thousands of targeted visits.

Third secret: Every keyword has a synonym. Use it

image-7206766

Google prefers sites that use more synonyms in the content of their pages. This is because Google uses algorithms that depend on understanding the searcher’s intent and not just matching the search process he performed with pages that target the same keyword, as shown in the previous example...

When searching for a word Fast diet

The first result preferred by Google was an article entitled “Fast diet,” which is a direct synonym for the word diet, and this is due to Google’s replacement engine.” Substitution Engine “He who replaces keywords that he cannot understand with words that are synonymous with them.

us09104750-20150811-d00000-1561422

An example showing how Google's keyword replacement engine works

For this reason, if you use appropriate synonyms for the main keywords within your page titles and content, the greater your chances of appearing in the first results.
